My story
I love creating value for people through technology.
I design because I have a powerful passion for creating things that make peoples lives better. From the first moment I held an iPhone in my hand the endless opportunities overwhelmed me. I continuously search for career opportunities that empower me to create value in people's lives using great problem solving, UX, delightful interactions and simple interfaces.

From the South
I was born and raised in Kentucky where I studied Graphic design at Western Kentucky University. I discovered product design by studying web design and marketing. As soon as I graduated, I joined a startup working as a product designer, creating solutions for healthcare workers. After a year, I decided to seek more product design opportunities, packed everything, and moved across the county to Seattle, WA.
I now live in a small one-bedroom apartment with a large monitor constantly brainstorming new product ideas and strengthening my craft. I'm currently obsessed with Swift UI, Figma and bon appétit, both tools empower me to execute my ideas to the fullest and the recipes on bon appétit are so yummy. I've been designing for 5 years and I thrive at the intersection of product strategy, visual and interaction design: creating real value for users through technology.
As a mixed African American from the south, I've always had a passion for solving problems that empower, simplify and connect people. I've put hard work and time into moving to a place I believe I can learn and grow to be the designer I envision myself. I strive to connect and empower others to continue in the path of design. I'm currently super inspired by the work Airbnb has done as well as community building in Seattle: Diversity @ Airbnb & Black designers Seattle.
